The incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured in the event. Five people required hospital care and were subsequently released.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
