Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres was left out from Graham Potter's initial Swedish national team selection, whereas Liverpool striker Alexander Isak secured inclusion

Gyokeres is set for more examinations in the coming days following concerns he suffered a muscle problem during the Gunners's English top flight victory at the Clarets last weekend

The 27-year-old sat out Arsenal' European victory against the Czech side on Tuesday

Alexander Isak Makes Comeback

Isak, absent from action from 22 October because of a groin problem, was selected to play in the World Cup games versus Switzerland (November 15th) and the Slovenian side (November 18th)

Former coach Jon Dahl Tomasson lost his job following Sweden's 1-0 loss against the Kosovan team on 13 October, a result that ended direct progression from their World Cup group unattainable

The Swedish team are currently last place in their qualifying group having only one point from their opening four games

Even if they don't manage to secure second place, there remains a chance they might be involved in the World Cup play-offs due to of their performance during the previous Nations League
