Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield
A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which verified that all passengers were secure.
"The jet landed following established safety measures and all passengers, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," an official representative commented in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a short visit to Brussels at the time.
This occurrence does not mark the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet carrying a top government figure has encountered mechanical issues.
In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane carrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to head back to the US capital after suffering a mechanical fault.
